Domestic players had first chance in the match, when Tofiloski hesitated and sent the ball just next to his goal. In the tenth minute Kochan missed the target. In the thirteenth minute Lovás scored and guests were in the lead – 0:1. After that Nagy missed the target and Jakubko didn´t make use of a big chance. In the thirty-fourth minute Mehanovič missed the target and about eleven minutes later Kochan header was inaccurate.
In the second half domestic players took over the activity. In the fifty-fifth minute Regáli missed the target. After six minutes Tofiloski tipped Gál-Andrzely´s shot and also subsequent Almaský´s attempt. In the sixty-second minute Kuciak tipped Jakubo´s shot. About one minute later Migaľa missed the target. In the sixty-seventh minute Mehanovič sent the ball to the goal, but he was in the offside and goal was not accepted. Subsequently Tofiloski caught Pančík´s shot and Ružomberok won the first match of the season.
