Beforethe match, the domestic players received the bronze medals for the third place in the competition. In the first minute Macík tipped dangerous Aluku´s shot. After fifteen minutes Daniel missed the target. In the twenty-third minute Gal Andrezly used Maslo´s pass and scored – 1:0. About thirteen minutes later Marš used Faško´s pass and scored – 2:0.
In the fifty-ninth minute Macík caught Vida´s attempt. In the eighty-first minute Faško missed the target in the big chance and after one minute Faško just missed the target from a long distance. Ružomberok won 2:0 in the last match of the successful season.

Today's match and football generally enjoyed us, but the taste is based on the hard work throughout the season, so I really think we've done it in a very nice way. At the same time, I think it's an invitation to the introductory round of the European League, which has not been there for eleven years. I believe the stadium will be even more full no matter what rival we get. This should be the reward of year-round work.“
