Ruzomberok was missing many injured players and two players who received five yellow cards in previous matches. In the eleventh minute Sulley missed the target. After ten minutes domestic player Brenkus was injured. In the twenty-third minute and in the forty-fifth minute Macík caught Kolesár´s attempt.
In the forty-seventh minute Kružliak did not use Kochan´s pass from a free kick and Kira tipped his dangerous header. About seventeen minutes later Sulley missed the target in a chance. In the eighty-second minute Kira caught Gal Andrezly´s attempt. At the end of the match Kolesár missed the target in a big chance.
David Holoubek (head coach of MFK Ružomberok): „We wanted to win, but the performance was particularly weak in the first half. It turned out that when the players who are at the moment injured or have yellow cards are missing, the boys who replaced them did not believe in themselves and were not so successful. They got a chance but did not convince me too much what I am sorry about. I am glad we kept zero, that´s probably the only thing I have a positive feeling about. Of the other things I do not see a lot of positives . The match was not very good and ended with 0:0. So, as the rival says, they were greatly defending in a good block. We did not know how to push through because of that poor quality, maybe because of the certain match unexperience of those players who were in those positions. Moreover, we had to change Brenkus for Jonec, and then we were in heavy trouble, and it was not us. I am sad about it, because I think we do some good performances here and I did not like this game at all.“
