In the sixteenth minute Vantruba tipped Kostadinov´s shot from border of the penalty area and Regáli missed the target. After three minutes Takáč missed the target. In the twenty-fourth minute Gerec did not use Čurma´s pass and just missed the target in a chance. About thirteen minutes later Kostadinov did not use Brenkus´s pass and just missed the target from border of the penalty area after a corner kick. In the thirty-eighth minute Alexander Mojžiš received the second yellow card and subsequently the red card. After one minute Krajčírik tipped dangerous Hrnčár´s shot from behind of the penalty area.
In the fifty-eighth minute Krajčírik caught Zachara´s header after a corner kick. After two minutes later Gerec did not used Regáli´s pass and Vantruba tipped his dangerous shot. In the sixty-third minute Kostadinov did not used Regáli´s pass and hit a goalpost and subsequently guest defender blocked Takáč´s shot in a big chance. About fifteen minutes later Qose scored own goal after Hatok´s shot from behind of the penalty area, after a corner kick – 0:1.
Ján Haspra (head coach of MFK Ružomberok): „It is also very difficult for me to judge this match because we did not manage the match we were supposed to handle. For the first thirty minutes I was very pleased with our play. We got into chances. It was a question of time when it would break and we would score the goal. Then there was a thing that decided the match in favor of the guests. We got a red card. I do not know whether deserved or not, I do not comment on this, but from that moment the match has changed especially from our side. We had to think differently, a little more defensive. We wanted to break through in the second half from some counterattack, which we basically did, because we had a few chances, but the goal of the guests, who scored from a random, unique action, completely broke us. Then it was bland until the end of the match. We were one player less, so if I evaluate it overall, I have to commend for the approach and the amount of work that the boys did. I congratulate my opponent on the victory, the first three points in the history of the Fortuna League they have won. We have to evaluate it, put our heads up and prepare for the next game. It wasn't bad on our part, just the exclusion really affected the match.“
