In the eleventh minute Macík tipped Medved´s dangerous shot after a corner kick. After two minutes Ožbolt did not use Rabiu´s pass and Macík blocked his dangerous header to goal post. In the sixteenth minute Brenkus did not use Kojnok´s pass, because Šulla caught his shot in a big chance. About two minutes later Medved just missed the target. In the fourtieth minute guest defender blocked Strelec´s shot from behind of the penalty area.
In the fourty-eighth minute Ožbolt scored from a penalty kick – 1:0. After seven minutes Macík caught De Kamps´s attempt from behind of the penalty area. In the fifty-eighth minute domestic defender blocked dangerous Brenkus´s pass after a corner kick. About twenty-three minutes later Takáč did not use Mojžiš´s pass and just missed the target in a chance. In the eighty-fifth minute Šulla tipped Kostadinov´s shot after a Takáč´s corner kick. Subsequently domestic defender blocked dangerous Maslo´s header. In the eighty-nineth minute Regáli just missed the target after a corner kick. At the end of the match Weiss missed the target in a chance. Ružomberok lost in final 0:1.

I can´t say a bad word about the boys, they did everything what was in them. I am so sorry we didn´t make it. I must congratulate Slovan to their well-deserved victory and gaining double. They had a hard time working with us in every match this season. I believe that we will conquer the conjured Tehelné pole next season and take some points from this stadium.“
