In the seventeenth minute Haskić scored after a Daniel´s free kick – 1:0. About eighteen minutes later Ferenc caught Maslo´s header. Subsequently guest player Keresteš did not make use of a Katona´s pass and just missed the target. In the thirty-seventh minute Černák scored from a free kick – 1:1. After five minutes active Černák missed the target.
At the start of the second half had Prešov a big chance, but Macík tipped dangerous Wiezik´s shot. In the forty-ninth minute Ferenc tipped Gal Andrezly´s shot from border of the penalty area. Ružomberok continued to increase his activity. In the sixty-fifth minute Kostadinov did not make use of a Haskić´s pass. Then, as if we got a little frightened and put the opponent in the game, he gave a nice goal from the standard situation. It was important that we increased the pace in the second half and after the changes we scored the decisive second goal. The important thing was that we did not lose our heads and we forced our opponents to make mistakes and finally brought the match to the winning end. It was not a simple game, as Prešov came here with a good-quality deep block where it was compacted, with tight defence and it was not easy to push but finally we assserted with a fast, precise combination and we reached it to the winning end.“
